She graduated in architecture from Milan Polytechnic in 1986, after the Master in Lighting Design and years of expertise, is with Claudio Valent the Metis Lighting company that focuses exclusively on Lighting Design and Industrial Design of luminaires. The synergy of these activities constitutes the real peculiarity of the Company.
Coordination of the different lighting problems with the intent of the architectural design originates, in fact, new lighting scenarios for the realization of which are sought after on the market the most appropriate instruments or, in their absence, these are specially designed and built.
The design for different areas, private and public, internal and external, each with visual, regulations and constraints, requires a careful selection of the best devices and consequently produces a constant growth in know-how used in the design of new equipment.
The design for the industry, therefore, is the natural outcome of this activity. The design of luminaires is really the combination of solid, technical and aesthetic experience matured on the field.
The main projects the development of Lighting Concept for brands such as Bulgari, Dior, Valentino, De Beers, Zegna and Bulgari Hotel in Milan and London. Also the recent lighting design for the new Doha airport lounges HIA Hamad International Airport and the new bridges of access to the exhibition Expo 2015 in Milan.
For years, the occupation was accompanied by teaching and research at university level at the Faculty of Industrial Design at the Politecnico di Milano.
Since 1998 he is a founding member and affiliate all’APIL – Association of lighting professionals.
He has participated as a speaker at numerous national and international conferences, including PLDC 2013 Led Forum in Brazil in 2014 and 2015 PLDC.
